Robin Study
A very obliging robin allowed me to take a series of photos, in fact he was so brave he hopped on to my foot!
A preliminary sketch was required for this painting, as I wanted to be certain that all poses were in the same scale. Painted using a combination of 'wet in wet' and 'wet on dry' techniques. Materials used  were A4 Bockingford sheet with Daniel Smith and Horadam schmincke artist quality watercolour paints.
